How to cancel a subscription made in the mobile application through Apple iTunes

Learn how to cancel an Apple subscription or an in-app purchase from the App Store.


How to cancel a subscription on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Click your name.
  3. Click "Subscriptions".

  4. Click subscription.
  5. Click "Cancel Subscription". You may have to scroll down to find the "Cancel Subscription" button. If there is no "Cancel" button, or if you see an expiration message with a red text, your subscription has already been cancelled.

Cancel a subscription on a Mac

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Choose your name. If you can't find your name, click "Sign In".
  3. Click "Account Settings".
  4. Scroll to the Subscriptions section, then click "Manage".

  5. Next to the subscription, click "Edit".
  6. Click "Cancel Subscription". If you don't see the "Cancel" or "Cancel Subscription" button, your subscription has already been cancelled.

Cancel a subscription on a Windows PC

  1. On a Windows computer, open iTunes. If you don't have iTunes, learn how to download iTunes for Windows.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, select "Account" and then "View...".
  3. Select "View Account".
  4. Scroll to the "Settings" section. Next to Subscriptions, click "Manage".

  6. Click "Cancel Subscription". If you don't see the "Cancel" or "Cancel Subscription" button, your subscription has already been cancelled.

Can't find the subscription you want to cancel?

 
If you're not trying to cancel iCloud+, find the receipt:
  1. Search your inbox for "Apple Receipt".
  2. On your subscription receipt, check which Apple ID you used.
    macOS
  • If your receipt shows your family member's Apple ID, ask the family member to follow the instructions in this article to cancel your subscription. You can cancel the family member's subscription by yourself.
  • If your receipt shows a different Apple ID that you're using, sign in with that Apple ID and follow the steps in this article to cancel your subscription.
  • If you can't find your subscription receipt from Apple, you may have purchased your subscription from a different company. To find out which company is billing you, check your bank account or credit card statement. To cancel your subscription, you must contact the company that bills you for the subscription.
